"Don't Upset the Birds" and "The Ballad of Pecos Bill" are particularly fun. I can hardly wait for his next collection!
P.R. wrote: I found this book of poetry very refreshing. Neither stuffy or over academic the poems are moving, funny, romantic and sometimes angry in turn and speak on the emotional level. The author rejects the highbrow approach that has marginalized poetry for so long and brings it back into popular culture where it once flourished. As a teacher of arts and popular culture this book is quite a discovery, more please.
